DULCIE TAYLOR/Rediscovered: Not everyone can compete with their younger self but Americana mainstay Taylor looks back at another ep sized bunch of tunes from her last 20 years successfully. Giving them various types of updating, these old songs are new songs once again loaded with a point of view that hits the nail on the head even if coming at it now from another direction. Proof once again that the basics are the basics for a reason, whatever/whenever Taylor touches, she leaves behind some magic to imbue it with. Well done.
